The Dessault Mirage F-1 is the successor to Mirage III/5 series.  It has a large payload, is extremely maneuverable at low altitudes, and has a high rate of climb.   The F-1 can operate from rough fields and only needs between 1,700 to 2,600 feet to takeoff at average mission weights.  It can scramble within two minutes of notification and uses a wide variety of munitions.
